Schock & Colbert
So our local political prodigy has just done a Colbert interview. It’s OK, nothing particular funny or outrageous. In fact anyone outside of Peoria probably couldn’t care less about it right now, but I think you’ll continue see more and more of Schock on TV. Even Colbert made mention of him being “the new face of the Republican party”, and I bet the Reps will keep him on the fast track, unless he screws up bad. So for what it’s worth:

I still remember when Schock was running a write-in campaign for the Peoria school board. It is quite the impressive career for somebody who never had a real job in his life.
Christian, you must be thinking of someone else. His campaign brochure said he started all sorts of businesses from a young age, and was active with charities and community organizations. He has clearly packed a lifetime of work into his first 27 years.
He probably ran a lemonade stand as a kid or he was trading
his lunch in 2nd grade for profit. I am sure he will be touted as the new hope for the GOP until he makes a blunder, like suggesting to sell nuclear arms to Taiwan. Palin/Schock2012 all the way!!!!!
